Jemma has travelled extensively in Europe and to the Far East and Canada to represent England in major championships.She reached the final stages of the World renowned Open British Amateur Latin Championships and was also an International finalist, competing at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Jemma won the Amateur Latin, French International Open Championships at Bercy, Paris which was televised on Sky TV and was the National Open Amateur latin champion at the Canadian International Open Championships in Toronto. She has recently completed filming for “Time to Dance”, the first Bollywood film to be based on ballroom and latin dancing.When Jemma retired from competitive dancing she turned her passion for dance to teaching and taught Latin and ballroom for several years. She is a qualified professional ISTD dance teacher, teaching and coaching students from beginner to Open competitor. She takes much pleasure from dancing with her students in medallist circuit competitions and examinations. Jemma has also taught at a dance school in California; on a tour of South America where she combined dance teaching with dance show performances and assisted with specialist teaching and choreography to professionals from the Far East. She is a ballroom and latin coach for the successful Cambridge University Dance team and has taught at various public and private schools in Suffolk.​Jemma is a qualified DD Mix teacher, a dance fusion fitness routine created by Darcy Bussell and leads a class in Ipswich.Jemma is keen to spread her love and passion for all things dance to others so that they too can enjoy the same fulfilment, Jemma has experienced.
